Grade 3 Garlands
The Grade 3s have been studying garlands like the one Ophelia had in Hamlet. They painted themselves or somebody they knew and today they hot-glued their flowers on to make a garland.
So here's the beginning
Now closer to the middle
Now it's time to finish it up!
And this is the photographer for this blog post!
There is a willow grows aslant a brook,
That shows his hoar leaves in the glassy stream;
There with fantastic garlands did she come
Of crow-flowers, nettles, daisies, and long purples
That liberal shepherds give a grosser name,
But our cold maids do dead men's fingers call them:
There, on the pendent boughs her coronet weeds
Clambering to hang, an envious sliver broke;
When down her weedy trophies and herself
Fell in the weeping brook.
That shows his hoar leaves in the glassy stream;
There with fantastic garlands did she come
Of crow-flowers, nettles, daisies, and long purples
That liberal shepherds give a grosser name,
But our cold maids do dead men's fingers call them:

Clambering to hang, an envious sliver broke;
When down her weedy trophies and herself
Fell in the weeping brook.

Working on Banner Graphics
Now that the grade 8 students are done creating their banner designs, they need to put them on the computer and digitize them. They are working on the graphics as well; to take away any smudges or anything unwanted there may be.

I have done my work
in, friends: O, make an end
Of what I have begun.
Of what I have begun.
